Overheating with broken front Heater/Air
Hello Everyone,
This problem has been going on for over a year, and I haven't but driven my Durango but maybe 40 miles since January. Here is what has been going on with it.
Two years ago the Durango (2001 with 140,000 miles) kept overheating, I was told it was a broken head gasket. However I was only losing fluid from the overflow. Then a year ago my front heater and air condition went out (note: the rear one still works). When that happened the truck stopped overheating.
In casual conversation I talked with a mechanic about the issue and I think he told me it could be due to a heat control valve, but I'm not sure if that is what he said.
Anyone have suggestions?
Thank you
