o man, do a search on lift in this section, and you'll find A LOT on the torsion shackle lift. Even search torsion
There are a few really good threads out there, some include which shackels to buy... Beltech 6700 if i remember correctly..
and i second Cragar soft 8's.... Definately gonna get a set next year... they look grea with chrome lug nuts, and beefy MT's on there... or BFG Radia TA's like OneBadKota there

i was just checkin out the link i found for the beltech shackles at summits website, and i was wondering y is says there for lowering, is there a reason? and ya im hopin for 32 11.50's sometime soon to go under my D. once i get all this done my exhaust will finally match the truck. i have the loudest trucks at my school and its a pretty much stock durango. kinda sad?
and the shackles, r they hard to put on or will i have to take it somewhere?

the shackles are actually 2inch (maybe 1 inch) lowering shackles for a chevy truck, however for some reason beyond my knowledge they lift a D about 2 inches. Definately has to do with the suspension design, but i dont know exactly why.
there is a good write up on installing the shackles by mtndewnut. https://dodgeforum.com/m_326719/tm.htm
with basic tools, you should be able to do it yourself...
anything straight piped is gonna be loud, esp a 318 ci V8... don't blame you for having the loudest one at school. Mine was loudest with the 4.7L and a flowmaster. My one buddy had a Blazer with a 383 stroker in it, but that only came out on really nice days, and he wouldnt be around very long.. just long enough to produce the longest burnout past all the first floor classrooms.

all you need now is a buddy to help you shoot a fly by vid, or ripping away from the camera...
do you have duals from the cat back? or from manifolds back with and X or H pipe? Still have your spare tire in there?

try your local Craigslist
www.craigslist.com and find your city. search in car/truck parts category, and look for "mud" or something
