Looks like this may have to be another weekend project for me. Will have to pull the seat completely out and figure out how to remedy this issue without welding. An mig arc welder would be best as you can fuse the metals quickly without burning the seat materials. I would like to look for an alternative fix without welding if possible. Maybe find someone that can build a replacement metal bracket from a metal shop.

I always take pics of my projects. However, my storage is maxed out on this site so I cannot upload any. I guess I posted too may pics on some of my DIY messages that I made and ran out of space.

Why don't you just use a host site like www.photobucket.com and insert the URL (bottom code) of the picture and it will post.

My front passenger seat has been rocking for a while, a friend and I have taken a close look at it a few times and can't seem to find anything mechanically wrong with it. I have the electric seats as well.

Default Seat issues

Look underneath your seat. You should see a piston with a white u-shaped plastic piece on the end. This should have a gray plastic piece and a pin going through a metal tab attached to your seat. I had the pin come outt and the gray piece was broken, causing my seat to rock, but not slide. Hope this helps

more problems! I havn't had time to look yet but! my passanger seat slides ALL the way forward now and ALL the way back, and my drivers seat rocks ALL the way back and forth, I'm guessing this isn't really the safest thing seeing as it's on the drivers seat...
