Radar<---- Hook up a Home Brew CAI.
Dony<----- Your saying that you only change your engine oil every 60,000 miles huh, well enjoy the new engine that you will be paying for. Anyway, it depends on what you have. See your coming into this thread with a 2004 Ram, which is built on complete different building blocks then the Durango, not to mention even at that it depends on how much you tow because of lubricate break down. You are not comparing apples to apples, and you obviously don't understand lubricants.

I didn't see anything about the cooling fan. I know replacing the mechanical fan with an electric setup will free up power and add a little bit of fuel economy. I know from experience that the Dodge Intrepid electric fan with a good set of relays and temp switches and a good rad can keep a 400hp chevy 350ci in an S10 cool. So I would assume that the same setup in the Durango would work pretty well but not sure. I just bought my 1999 Durango. I have two sets of Intrepid fans in my garage that I was going to use on an S10 project but now I think I'm going to try it on my Durango.
The Fans I got at a Junk Yard for $15 and the temp switches (you need two. one for low speed and one for High speed) from summit racing are $20 each. Then a couple of relays and some wire this will be less than $100. I think over time it will pay for itself.

Greater than 250K miles on my 1999 Durango and very very little repairs but extremely maintained on my own. Looking back... 7 sets of tires, 3 batteries, 3 sets of rotors and 10+ sets of pads, 2 water pumps, Upper and lower ball joints, tie rod ends, u-Joints and never left on the side of the road or trail. I chalk it up to synthetic fluids to the most part but the 318 still passes emissions without a puff of smoke. I am not bragging on me.... Just my D-Rango.

Passing it along
I just added a used 2005 Magnum R/T AWD (No 69 Satellite)(Jealous) to my stable and have already switched what I can over to synthetic fluids. With only 68K miles on it I believe I can safely stretch a lot of miles out of her. Now to learn how to keep my foot out of it..... It is hard when my daughters are yelling FASTER DADDY!
