2001 Durango slt 4X4 with 4.7 V8
it was running fine, one evening last week i changed a headlight.
the next day my wife went to leave and when it started it was running rough, took a little while but it cleared up.
went to town it sat for a couple of hours, long enough to get cold, started it running rough again, warmed up running fine
next day it wont start. air filter looks good, fuel is in the fuel rail, pushed the valve gas came out, I can also hear the fuel pump humm when I turn the key.
so far Ive heard egr valve(doesnt have one), mass air flow sensor(doesnt seem to have that either), TPS and IAC
I am not a mechanic unless you consider 2 stroke dirtbikes and changing brakes/oil. right now im just lost.... i would just go buy the two parts and replace them but if thats not it there is $100 or more...
is there an easy way to make sure I have spark?
this thing isnt anything like the ol cars I had when I was a kid...
