Cool 2001 4.7 SLT Durango Performance Parts?

I have been looking for, some firepower ignition kits and distributor, I can find some but they are only for the higher motor models, like the 5.9 or 5.7. Even the cold air intakes are made for the the higher or lower model engines. The point is I can not find and performance parts for the 4.7liter models. I have looked all over google, But still can find any.

Anyone have any websites or places I can get these things for the 4.7 Liter?

Like Indy said the 4.7 is limited but I might be able to suggest a couple of quick ones, as you can see by my signature, I have a few upgrades, mostly normal wear replacement items but replaced with upgraded components. Items like Bilstein shocks, Bosch waterpump. I also added the following items pretty readily available on e-Bay search E-bay motors/parts&accessories/ year make model. HIPRO CAI KIT, Parking lights, and Headlights.

Replacement radiator fitting (actually a fairly recent post on this forum) from JEGS HIGH PERFORMANCE, custom RAM AIR SCOOP.

All mods were a bit over $200. I didnt count the Bilsteins and waterpump price since they are no option replacements but those were $205 (self replacement) and $320 (LOCAL MECHANIC)

I along with others will recommend CHAMPION TRUCK PLUGS......NO PLATINUM!!!!!

You can also look at Flowmaster mufflers. Performance wise, the list is limited but with some creativity and ebay you can get things, just takes a little research. PM me if you need more info.

The best money to HP ratio is the HO Cams for the 4.7L. They are hard to find right now so you might even consider 206 Cams. That is what I'm running and I love them. My suggestion.

CAI or FIPK
Cams
Programmer/Tuner
Performance muffler
Electric Fan vice belt driven
Underdrive Pulley

Ok, you might have to explain to me in better terms, I do not know really anything about cams. I am more like a backyard weekend mecanic, I know a bunch about other things but When it comes to cams i am lost.

Okay, the 4.7L is a SOHC or single overhead cam. There is one on each head. They are really easy to get to, just remove the valve covers and they will be staring at you. They are held in place by camshaft bearings and sprockets.

A stock 4.7L Magnum cam is like a 188 grind or so. A High output is a 200 grind grind. They go all the wasy to 224 grinds for boosted applications, etc.
