I just had the FM 50 SUV installed today at Tuffy. They cut off the old, added about 12" of pipe, and welded in the new. Charged me $90. It sounds pretty good, I haven't had it up to highway speeds yet, but at 40mph cruising through town, you can't hear it much in the cabin, which is probably a good thing. It's about 80% of my expectations, I thought/hoped it would be a tad louder.

You have the standard that I always recommend, exact install etc.

If you don't mind being a bit redneckish, then you could have gone for the 40. It was simply to loud on my D in any sorts of professional setting. The Series 50 SUV is perfect for the best of all worlds.

Yes, I didn't want to get too crazy as I do drive this vehicle to work and in a professional setting, the FM 40 would be too much. The SUV 50 is a pretty good mix. I'm just about finished with my mods, I'm having Kumho Road Venture M/T's put on right now. I'll get some pics up later with my before/after shots. I've also completed the T/S mod and Rancho 5k shocks. I'm diggin the new life my D has.

Picked up my D yesterday after they had it for about 5 hrs. HOLY ****. What a freaking difference it has made in the Look,Sound and feel of this truck. Should have done this long ago and recomend the 50 series to anyone wanting Flowmaster. I will have pictures up later today.."need to wash it" They hooked me up though.... All new 3 in. pipe with 3 in. rounded flat cut tips. They even trimmed the bumper on the drivers side to match the stock passenger outlet area. Thanks for all your advice and input and the next thing for her is a set of Bilstien HD shocks all around. Then up she goes.
