Default Flowmaster 52557 muffler install pics

Just finished installing a flowmaster 52557 muffler on my 2000 4.7 Durango, pretty happy about the install and sound. My only rant is 1700-1800 RPM on highway there is an annoying wah-wah-wah sound in the interior, above and below that RPM I love it. Didn't see any MPG change either just came back from 1100 mile trip.

Cut the old muffler as close as possible to case on inlet side. Tape is 3/4 in wide.

Opened up outlet of case and cut pipe, so I had the right length.

Test fit

Happy with fit, tacked tail pipe to muffler and welded up outside

Added this to attach rear hanger bracket

Installing muffler and tailpipe start by laying it upside down, d jacked up and rear end hanging.
Start like this

End up like this

Looks good, however your rear axle yoke seal is leaking and needs to be replaced.
