Default longevity of Durangos

I have a 2002 2wd with the 4.7l V-8. It has 141,000 miles on it. I have owned it for almost 4 years without any major problems. Is there anything I need to look out for, with it getting up there in mileage? Also, is there any reason to worry about it or just keep driving it?

Thanks

We have users with more mileage than that!

Don't worry about the mileage. Make sure you get the transmission fluid and filter changed at 15k intervals, engine oil at least every 3k miles, and differential lubricant every 30k. Change the spark plugs every 15K or yearly and use Champion Regular Copper plugs $2 specials or or Champion Truck Plugs and they are like $3 bucks. Walk away from other plugs in my opinion.

Never do a transmission flush! Always have the pan dropped and filter changed. Make sure they only use ATF+4 fluid!!!!!

Fluids, filters and plugs are not a problem. Just didn't know if there was anything major to look for or to avoid.

just keep the fluids changed and do the maintenance as you should. I have seen people with 280,000+ and never been touched other then general maintenance. You take care of these trucks well and they will treat you the same. Use quality fluids such as Mobile 1..

At 180,000 what do you expect? For them to last forever? Pleeeeeeaassseee. If you don't want the answer, don't ask the question.
