Ok, I'm back. Sorry, been busy with work. Snow is a coming and I received the transfer case electric motor today. Can't get one of the bolts out. It is hitting the flange around the drive shaft. So can this flange be taken apart? It has 6 bolts toward the front and then 6 screws on the back side. I will try to post a pic.

Ok, apologies for the "necrobump", but I am having issues with the 4WD Service light as well. Here's my situation:
After a week of heavy rains and frequent operation in and out of 4WD my 4WD Service light came on with no lights illuminated on the 2WD/4WD/4LO switch.
I first disconnected the battery and also checked the under-hood 20A fuse in the fuse/relay block just behind the battery. The 20A fuse was blown. I reconnected the battery and drove to the parts house to get oil (it needs a change) and a pack of fuses. I replaced the 20A fuse and started the truck. No service light and no lights on the 4WD selector switch. Fortunately, the truck is in 2WD right now.
So then I got under the truck and disconnected the harness to the TCCM. I also replaced the 20A fuse and started the truck. This time there are lights on the 4WD switch selector (indicates in 2WD). I inspected the fuse and it's good, not blown.
I got back under the truck to inspect the wires more closely, but didn't see any obvious abrasion. However, I need to get it on the lift to see more closely. I'm leaving the TCCM disconnected for now and have a new TCCM on order.
It's my opinion that it's either abraded wires causing a short/fault or the TCCM is kaput. I'd appreciate any help, guidance or suggestions! I'll give ten whole bucks (US via paypal) if anyone can help me diagnose the issue to success
And if someone can give me the pinout/wiring diagram on the three pin connector going into the TCCM, I'd appreciate that, too!
