Default Turn signals not working, hazards do... Buzzing noise from fuse panel...

Had this issue on my 1998 Dodge Durango SLT. A few days ago turn signals started to behave erratic. First blinking slow and then fast... Today when I made my first turn all I got was loud Buzz like "Like I lost on a game show." Buzzing sound but no lights blinking. Tried Hazzard lights and they still work. After watching a YouTube video. "Cleaning a Turn Signal Relay." Very very informative. I tested the blinkers again and same buzzing sound... Opened my drivers door and took off the fuse panel cover. Saw the diagram on the back, but just to make sure located the relay held it slightly and tried turn signal. Immediately it Buzzed and Vibrated. Right one.... Took switch out, used small regular screwdriver and pryed the switch open away from the sides tabs... After that slid switch out carefully and examined switch. Located spring mechanism and gently moved contact mechanism. Everything actually looked Okay. I did see some corrosion on contacts and had dust like residue in top. Cleaned surfaces where contact mechanism touches and also cap, with Contact Cleaner not too crazy but cleaned it pretty good. Assembled switch like it was... "There is a slot that lines up with the back of the circuit board." Used small flashlight to make sure the probe pattern was correct. Pushed back in place. Tried turn signals..... NO MORE BUZZING AND ALL SIGNALS WORKING FINE.....

Hopefully it'll keep working for you, but at the worst a new flasher is only $12 or so.

Old thread but it's referenced quite a bit so I'll add this. And here is the 1998 Durango PDC:
