Red face Reclining Seats Further Back

Just wondering if anyone knows of a mod to recline the front seats further. My fiance's 2003 Durango R/T is a great truck and we love it... But we go on road trips a lot and the front seats just don't recline far at all. There is still so much more space between the reclining front seat and the rear seats before it hits... It bugs me that it won't go back any further.. Any thoughts or ideas on this? Thanks so much!!

Nope. That's all you get. No lay flat fronts.

Could always just break it. But then it wouldn't do much good except lay down. But thats only bad in the eyes of the beholder.

why would you want to lean it back that far, cant drive safely in that position, and its really not comfortable OR safe to ride in the position as a passenger (IMO they recline well beyond what is necessary)

Seriously, OP mentioned road trips so they are likely resting in the front seats.

We have slept in the D dozens of times, always flat in the back. Make sure you fold the little flap flat from the 3rd row to the 2nd row. In the middle of the night that bump gets really uncomfortable if you haven't!

Thumbs up

Thank you all for the replies.. I have a 00' Jeep GC.. My front seats recline all the way back so I was curious to see if my fiance's Durango was capable of doing the same... As per the comment stating it wouldn't be safe for the seats to recline further, it's not safe when we do 110mph on the highway but we do that anyway.. I'm not so worried about reclining seats being unsafe but thanks for the tip...
