Default Aftermarket Exaust

Any paticular kit anyone would recommend? I've never upgraded exaust before. I would probably purchase on ebay, but I'm unsure of a quality brand and setup. The stock exaust will eventually need to go. Thanks for any suggestions.

Depends on what kinda sound you want? Loud and obnoxious, softer, or grunty. Most of the time a muffler shop will out bid a bolt on from Ebay......"My 2 cents"

I'm looking at magnaflow right now, at least the muffler. I want to do a dual side exit exhaust, ahead of the rear tire.

Go to your local muffler shop and ask em how much to install a system from the "CAT Back" in 3 inch. The Aluminzied coating pipes tends to protect it from corroding to soon and they should outlast your ownership but without the cost of Stainless Steel. Now the Muffler (MagnaFlow) is going to be Stainless Steal. They make a muffler that is a single in (which off the CAT will be 3") and dual 2 1/2" out and it will flow great. You could do a single 3" outlet pipe on that as well.

The OEM CAT flows fine but if you want to do a Hi Flow CAT then have em cut the old "Y" pipe out and MagnaFlow makes a 2 1/4" X 2 1/4" X 3" "Y" pipe then go into a 3' CAT and continue to the 3" muffler then continue out as you wish as stated above. You could also use the Advanced Search Function to find MANY threads on this topic.

bad idea, you need some back pressure on the system in order for it to work correctly (besides you are probalby breaking a law about the volume of the exhaust)
