Noise/Grinding while driving
#12
Happened to me once. Turning left would produce grinding noise. No noise turning right. So I replaced the RIGHT bearing assembly and noise was gone. For the record, when you turn, you put pressure on the OPPOSITE /outside corner of the vehicle. Which means the if you turn right, the left hub assembly is bad, if you turn left, the right hub assembly is bad.

You dig up a 4 yr old thread about wheel bearings to post your problem that is clearly not a wheel bearing by your description? Would be better if you started your own thread . Might get more responses.
