Vacuum line, where does it go?
Hey guys, I was just doing some maint on my 2001 5.9l R/T and heard a hissing noise while it was idling. I found that a mouse had got in there and chewed off a hose on the passenger side of the intake manifold and I can't find a hose dangling anywhere that should go there! If I block the port the engine idles down and dies so it's got to go somewhere. Where? Pics below.
Thanks!

That side port should just be capped off IIRC.

If I plug that port the engine dies in about 3 seconds.

Thanks for the replies guys! I found that if I blocked it off with my finger quickly the engine would just die. If I blocked it slowly it would idle down a little than be fine. If I started it with it blocked no problems. Port is now capped. Thanks again!

Yep, it is capped off.
Turbo, yours is a 1999 which is a different set up then the 2000-2003. They switched sides on everything.
