Default Intermittent Brake warning lamp flicker

Would a bad front wheel bearing cause only the brake warning lamp to occasionally flicker on some bumps? Its not brake and abs together, just the brake warning lamp. I do get both together every once in a while but Believe it is unrelated to this "new" problem. It just started doing this a couple days ago. I know the bearing is bad, and am only using for necessary trips because of it, and I have an issue with my right rear brake that has been there since I got the truck. Still stops great with or without any of the lights on. Just curious if its fixing to let go and set the wheel free. Bearing doesnt have any side to side, up/down, or in/out movement yet, but is rough when turning wheel by hand in the air.

I would think if it was related to the bearing, it would kick the abs as well and stay on.... fluid level is just under max, havnt had to add any since I've had the truck. Am I looking at a soon-to-be major brake system replacement?

I would adjust the parking brake tensioner. This is easy and on my '00 It's a nut that you just tighten on the cable going from the pedal. Also I would put your foot down on the parking break and pull the brake release and kick up the pedal to ensure its fully disengaged.

sounds to me like the parking brake pedal isnt retracting all the way, or that the switch for it is loose

I'll check into the switch. Pulling the release and pulling the pedal up was the first thing I checked when I parked it after I first noticed the light.

Check the fluid level / Replace the e-brake sensor.

Fluid level is fine, It started doin it a lot more yesterday, I ended up just kicking the bottom of the emergency brake pedal and it quit. Have not noticed it since. Im guessing the switch on the pedal is loose or going out? I'll check it out tomorrow when I have some free time. Not too worried now that I know what it is.

Replace the switch and flush the brake lines with a brand new bottle of DOT-3 brake fluid. You suck out all the old fluid out of the master cylinder, then fill with the new DOT-3, then bleed the brakes starting with rear pass, rear driver, front pass, and finally front driver. Use the entire bottle but save enough for the top off. I use a large bottle when I do this.
