Dodge (or anyone else) doesn't go full electronic fans because most trucks are used for towing and they promote heavy duty use. They are not a car with a trans axle. A clutch fan when fully engaged is going to bring in more air then any fan out there on the market, this will cool that motor faster and that holds them less financial responsibility.
