Get a mutimeter and start checking for power to the fuse... if no power start looking for a broken wire or loose/dirty connection.

Check the fuses in the dash.

There also could be a "hidden" set of fuses up behind the fuse panel above the E-brake. You will have to get down under the dash and look. It also could be a bad power outlet.

the fuse for that outlet is under the hood iirc

Fuse D 20 amp in the PDC under the hood

it is the same fuse that powers the rear power outlet, the one in the dash is fused in the drivers door jam panel and is separate from the other 2

And if it's not a fuse I'd check what you're putting into the power outlet. The reason I say this is because when I traded my 2000 Mitsubishi Eclipse I tried to use the same car charger that I used with the Eclipse but it would never work in my Durango. After checking the fuses I tried a newer one that was a different brand. Turns out the old one I was using was just a little bit to short to make contact inside the power outlet on the dash of my Durango, so now it has a permanent home inside my Silverado...

Later...

Brekar...
