I had the same problem connecting my new Pioneer stereo into my Durango. Connect the blue/white wire to the solid blue wire. I used an adapter that I soldered to the Pioneer wiring which allowed me to just connect the adapter to the Durango factory wiring. I got it and the receiver at Crutchfield...
Thanks guys. But were is the Green wire or the blue wire? I know on my head unit I have the Amp blue/white wire but on the factory harness were is the wire I need to plug it into ? I have installed alot of radios before but non of my Mustangs needed a special hook up :-( Does anyone have a picture of this wire? My durango is a 1998
I am having a similar problem, I installed a double din deck and picked up a Scosche CR4000A wiring harness so I could keep the factory features( RAP, factory amplifier, chimes, etc). Now when I shut off the vehicle and open my door the sound goes off but the screen stays on. I have to shut it off manually every time I leave the vehicle. Has anyone else had this problem or know how to fix it. Thanks
