Default trailer brake problems

I have an 01 5.9 durango. I am trying to install a trailer brake controller but the factory plug is cut off and its just loose wires under the dash.I am not geting any power at all to any of the wires. I checke the fuses and they are all good. Is there a seperate fuse or relay or something that i am missing. Please help

More information is needed here.

Do you have access to a wiring diagram?

Did it originally come with a Tow Package? (This can be checked at https://www.moparownercenter.com/oc/...nersLogin.aspx -send them an email asking for a Build Sheet and they'll get back to you within one-two business days)

no offense but if the OP had or had access to a wire diagram do you really think he would come to a internet forum to ask questions to what color wires do what?

There should be a blue, white , black and red..

Blue- trailer brake
white- ground
black - 12+
red - Brake light switch

There is a trailer tow fuse in the PDC under the hood and there is also a trailer tow relay also in the PDC. You can go to the DYI Section sticky and download yourself the 2002 factory service manual and section 8w will have the wire diagram for the trailer tow...
