a t/s lift would make your ride look exen sexier! and when you do your shackles, if you decide to go that route, an air chizle will work to beat the old bolts out. i had a bear of a time doing mine. but my d was neglected and the state of the shackle bolts were completely ceased, so i ended up having to take it in to my friends garage where he used an industrial hammer, like a small jackhammer to get mine out. but i love the way it looks now.

hey jmess.
in the spring im going to be doing quite a bit to my d, i wanted to ask how hard of a job was it to do the body lift?
were there any special tools you had to buy to do it?
also did you have to replace any brake lines to do it?
like the ones coming from your abs pump to the lines on the frame?
and how long did it take to do that project?

I didn't need any special tools other than a floor jack and a block of wood to lift the body. I wouldn't of had to replace any brake lines if mine weren't rusted as hell but the one that snapped was the one off the master cylinder for the front brakes. All together I would have just taken me a full Saturday but I ran into an issue was the steering extension. The steering shaft is supposed to collapse a little to put the extension on the gearbox and mine was seized up. If you look at your steering shaft there's a rubber boot on it. If you slip that off you'll see that the shaft is telescoping. Dodge did that for a safety feature so I you get in an accident then it'll collapse instead of having the steering will shoot at your face

ahh cool man thanks! but no other issues with heater hoses or anything like that? and yea my brakelines coming off the master and the abs are pretty bad but all my other lines were replaced befor i got it. but its a good thing to know its not to hard of a job cuz i really want to get slightly larger tires for clearance reasons.
