Where is the oil pressure sensor on a 2000 Durango?
Where is the oil pressure sensor located on a 2000 Durango 5.9? I want to try to replace it first and hope that is all that is wrong with it.
My pressure keeps reading high until the the engine warms completely, usually after driving it about 9-10miles. The temps are still fairly warm here, 70's in the day and 50-60's at night. This started all of a sudden and the truck seems to be running good, not experiencing any issues. So I am hoping it just a bad sensor. I did try unhooking the battery to see if it would reset it but it did not. I also checked to see if it would code any errors and it did not. Just hoping its not the oil pump going bad.
