I used valvoline 80-90w in the rear which has 3% friction modifier in the fluid, but wasnt enough so I added 3 oz of modifier from o'reilly auto to get it up to the 5oz called out in the FSM. But for my 2000 slt, I just used 100% modifier from the auto parts store for its LSD and has been working fine for over a year...
edit--Saw your from indiana, and judging from your username, are you from warsaw? Just curious...

I see about the LSD rear end. I have a Trac-Lok (a posi rear end). So, I want to make sure I put the right friction modifier in (if there is a difference).
I know why you are asking about Warsaw, and no, I'm not from there at all. No relation in Warsaw of "any" kind. I live way west and a chunk south of Warsaw.
