Question Rough Idle Just Got P0204 & P0208

Hi everyone, my 2000 dodge durango has been running a little rough the last week. Last night I got a p0204 and p0208 code. I had cleaned the throttle and IAC 2 weeks ago and around that smae time the idle started to get rough on me.

P0204 and P0208 are implying bad injectors. Could a bad IAC and/or TPS be causing the rough idle and yet still cause the p0204 and p0208 codes?

Just wanted to update the thread for future users. I went to test my TPS sensor with the car running. I put my hand on the back of the sensor and applied a little pressure, and noticed the idle started to go up. At the point I was pretty sure it was the TPS, and after changing it the surge has gone away. SO P0204 and P0208 can be triggered falsely by a bad a TPS. (Durango 2000 4.7 TPS Throttle position sensor, rough idle at startup)

Hi there,
I Had similar problem,There was another symptom when the TPS is going bad or bad. When I was driving, the transmission would downshift, back and forth. As soon as I changed the TPS. I went away, shifting went back to normal, and ran smooth. Best of luck, I hate false Positives. Get's ya drinking quicker.
