Default spark plug wires

hey there guys Im looking to replace my spark plugs and wires with the factory plug and want to use the denso wires but they come in two different length. the length are 2.48" and 3.25" which one would I need for my 99 dodge durango 5.2l

2-1/2" or 3-1/4"? Seems kinda short for plug wires.

After doin alot of research the 2.48 and 3.25 is how long the heat shields are around the spark plugs

Oh gotcha. Measure the length of one that's on there now.

The length of the heat shield dose not really make that much of a difference other than how easy it is to grab a hold of to remove the boot from the plug. I know you should be using a special tool technically but I'm 45 and still don't own a wire boot tool myself. Either length should be fine.

Growing up I was always told to better to protect your plug... ... I'd go for the larger one....LMAO
