hate to break it to you but its really not all that common, and in 99% of the cases does not pose any safety problems when it goes out

Having an issue with some kind of electrical problem.. I have no dashboard lights or tailights. Headlight work fine brights and foglights work fine. Breaklights work fine But reverselights also do not work. all bulbs are fine. Could this be a headlight and dimmer switch problem..

Sounds like the parking light fuse or the switch.

+1

Also could have something to do with your trailer hitch plug. Also check your relays.

I had water get into the trailer connector last summer and it blew the parking lights fuse, which runs the dash lights, parking lights, and tail lights.

check the connections on the bulbs and on the lens housing to see if the metal prongs are touching. Sometimes they can melt into the plastic.

Check your sensor connections on the transmission. Can't remember correctly if the 45RFE or 545RFE has a reverse sensor singular or if it's integrated into some other switch. The wiring diagram shows a switch, just not where it is?
