Exclamation Rough Idle

Before I start I just want to say if this is an easy search for an answer i'm sorry. I searched around a bit and other idle problem threads seemed more extensive than mine does.

So every day hot or cold when my durango is in park or drive w/o the A/C on it will drop to a very low idle below 500rpm and has trouble staying running. I noticed it a couple months ago but it never really bugged me because it wasnt that bad. However, now if the A/C isnt on it will die within 5 to 15 sec's. If the A/C is on it idles fine. Autozone tells me its most likely just my IACV. Before I run out and buy a new one just want to make sure that some people on here think the same thing. Any help or advice would be appreciated. Thank You.

check the battery terminals and make sure they're clean and tight. If they're not making good contact they can cause it to idle low and stall. Next thing to check if that doesn't work would be the IAC.
