I have always relied on Moog suspension products on the past. BUT, (Not that I'm trying to put Moog out to pasture ) it seems they've had some quality issues in areas.
Here's a thread that may interest some..............
I've never delt with either one. Never had to, but I also know that both are of good quality. But I think dave69 your right when it comes to talking about bearings Timken is the names usually preferred over hear. Same when it comes to suspension parts Moog is usually the one preferred.
