First time here looks cool. My wife has a 2001 that she bought new 84,000 miles and she loves it. Last night lights go bright than back to normal over and over horn beeps wiper swipes once than horn then wiper then horn..... locks lock and unlock also. Does not happen all the time today no problem in the morning but at lunch it started again. Can anyone point me in the right direction? Could it be a short? Thanks alot for any help.

 

Could be the CTM???

 

I'd say the CTM (central Timing Module) also. It's a $400 dealer repair that takes less than an hour. Take both of your key FOBs with you since they will need to reprogram them to the new CTM.
