Could be fuel pump... perhaps the battery is starting to die... but I'd start with the fuel pump. "Test" it by turning the key to the on position, but not cranking the engine... then off, then on, then off, then on, then off... then start it... this process primes the fuel pump... if it starts up right away... I would think it's the fuel pump starting to go.

NO: 18-36-98
SUBJECT: Start And Stall, Idle Undershoot - Lost Idle Air Control (IAC) Steps
DATE: Dec. 18, 1998
NOTE: THIS INFORMATION APPLIES TO VEHICLES EQUIPPED WITH GASOLINE ENGINES BUILT PRIOR TO DEC. 18, 1998 (MDH 1218XX).

SYMPTOM/CONDITION:
Some vehicles may exhibit an idle undershoot or die out during engine starting and may be caused by IAC lost steps. This condition is more likely to occur during cold weather, low battery voltage, cold engine start, and quick ignition key "On" - "Off" operation.
Idle undershoot will cause a long crank time and Lost Idle air control steps will make it run rough after it does start
The fix is a PCM flash.... look under you hood for a sticker with an updated PCM part#. If you can't find one have the dealer Flash it. It might fix your problem
