the 3.0 intake is off older, late 80's and early 90s cars with the 3.0L engine. Cars like the dodge dynasty, you can usually find plenty of the intake tubes at wrecking yards

its illegal to swap from a sohc auto to anything else if it was sold in cali
i didnt find this out till after i did it, im gonna try to get the referee to override it, but there off work till a budgets passed
there reasoning is that since the car came with a tlev computer, switching to any other computer would make it pollute more (which ignores the fact that you'll get 12 more mpg, which completely overrides any small increase in emissions from the computer swap)
if you have a dohc auto, you can switch, if you have either in a manual, it doesnt matter
if you have a dohc auto, or either on in a manual, the srt swap is legal
thats directly from the mouth of the chairman of the bureu of automotive repair
if i cant get the referee to override it, im gonna part out my stupid tlev and look for a clean mtx 2 door that i can swap my good tranny into, and build that up as my street car instead
after my gf gets back to making her normal wages that is, she normally brings home 4000+ a month as a CO, and right now shes getting dropped to 800 take home a month till the budget passes
the legislators need to get there thumbs out of there ass and do something for once

since you bought the car in cali, it has to be either a dohc auto, dohc mtx, or sohc mtx. If you swap a cali sold sohc atx, they will not let you smog it again.
