Default Lug nut covers?

I'm wandering if anyone has any ideas for what I wanna do for my rims this summer. I've got a stock looking dark purple neon, with hubcaps. I wont buy rims because I've got 4 brand new tires rated for 70k miles, but I dont like how the hubcaps look. I was wandering how it'd look with a set of Chrome rings around the outside edge, and chrome lugnuts or lugnut covers. I'd pressure wash, mask, and paint the rims gloss black... Dumb idea or no?

Or a set of hubcaps that dont look retarded... Any suggestions would be great. Stock size, stock ride hight...

If you want to go with the crown Vic look then just get the crown VIc. This was my 96 Crown Vic that I sold a few months back for just as much as a paid for it. 3,200

Trying to avoid paying for tire change over, or new rims.

I dont want a crown vic either. I'm just looking for some opinions on hubcap options...
