Default srt turbo set up on a 2.0 dohc

is it possible to use a stock srt turbo set up on a 2.0 dohc my buddy is buyin gnother srt and i can get a turbo set up from him will it work on my car with some modding?

Yes it will bolt right up. 4 psi on stock wastegate. Enjoy.

thanks sweet deal i got a full srt turbo setup with a i think hks waste gate not sure what company it is but yeah sweet

i know i said about the srt turbo but what about a eclipse gst turbo set up i can get all of it ever piece for 50 bucks and run 8 psi

You can run any turbo you like as long as you get a turbo manifold to mount it and you can squeeze it in the engine bay.

Yeah, Das is right the turbo will fit, but not the manifold. And the manifolds usually come in garett T3 since there are a wide array T3's. Eclipse turbos are mitsu TD04 14b which have a different inlet for the turbine housing. Of course, there are manifold adapters to adapt mitsu turbos to garett T3, but its on ebay so....

so the manifold from the eclipse wont fit? i always thought they were kinda the say motor? 2.0 dohc and all the happy crap well either way if all the other stuff from a eclipse turbo will work and i have to get a different manifold thats no big deal

The srt-4 turbo can easily have the boost turned up with a boost controller ebay or homemade. My volvo ran 2psi I turned it to 8psi with a piece from the local hardware store. The srt-4 turbo is nice because it is the turbo/manifold in one piece. By the time you buy a manifold that will fit, it will run you more then the srt-4 turbo.

true but sadly my buddy isnt getting an srt so i can get the turbo set up cheap =[ but i can get a 2.0 i think 420a? dohc turbo set up for an eclipse for 50 bucks i always thought the motors were the same
