yes more lift and more overlap usually means more power... it also helps that dodge stuck extremely small cams in the neons... the 96 and up sohc suffering from this move.... although there were some instances that dodge used a larger cam in the sohc with the best results being the 01 and up rt rated at 150hp... 95 neons also had a bigger cam but it was still rated at only 132 hp.... the dohc engine also has fairly small cams but not near as bad as the sohc.. but they still respond very well to a set of aftermarket cams..

My head is a 95 with the 95 cam but I don't see a difference. How much gain can you see from lets say a 16 or 18 cam, cause I was planning on a 2.4 build and would like to start with a semi-built motor.
i dont know exact numbers an increase it depends on compression and so on...more you have the better results you will get...95 cam i think was compared to like a crane 10 or something like that
