is it auto or manual...and what condition is the car in. I would just start with a good tune up.Flush all fluids plugs wires and filters

Btw, welcome!

If its a manual, swap in a TB from an ATX Neon. it will give you better throttle response. You can also get a UDP which will help as well with throttle response and such. You can also go ahead and make your own CAI. As we call it the 3.0L CAI. or the ghetto CAI.

All you need for that is a 3.0L intake tube off a 3.0L Chrysler V6 (Caravan, LaBaron, and so on, NOT a Stratus R/T 3.0L though look for an early 90s V6)
Some exhaust piping.

and a Air Filter from K&N or equilivant.

Then it will look something like this at the end of your putting it together.

To get it past the Battery you do have to do some cutting of the plastic battery holder. its pretty easy. hack saw will do it.

Thats my Exhaust pipping in the middle.

And thats how low mine is. But you can adjust it depending on how much exhaust tubing you used.

start w/ the Tune up then the CAI and headders. Then move on to the Throttle body and an EGR block off (won't give u more than 2 hp for the EGR) After that, the rest is internal engine parts and machine work.
