Default Sticking Calipers - Melting pistons

My sister's car (1998 Sport DOHC - front disc / rear drum) keeps having this issue where the brakes heat up to the point where the LF wheel turns cherry red. IT LITTERALLY melted off the OE hubcap (the one held on with the plastic lug caps). My brother in law changed out the calipers, rotors and pads, bleed out the system with fresh brake fluid (front and rear), and used plenty of caliper grease on the slider pins and where the pads contact the caliper frame....

On the second pair of calipers, and I think it's already melted through the OE phenalic (plastic) piston on these calipers... Should he change out for the optional metal piston calipers available at rockauto.com? Other question is, will these fit this configuration (see first line)?

Replace the flex lines and your problem should go away...

They're most likely collapsed on the inside, and holding fluid. You can definitely use the cheaper calipers...
