Hello all. I was wondering if anyone had any links or pics of a diagram of the manual shifter on a 95 Neon, I'm having some problems with it and before I start taking it apart I wanna know what I'm getting into, need to see exactly how it works because I'm not sure if its the shifter that the problem is or if its the cables. Or maybe I can just explain to you the problem and you can help me determine What happened was I was backing out of the driveway to park the neon across the street and I was having problems getting it into reverse and aparently I tugged to hard on the shifter, and now I can only move it up and down, not side to side anymore, but even when I do move it up and down it doesnt feel like its actualy putting it into a different gear. Any ideas? Thanks in advance for any help.

Thanks, that did shed some light as to what its like, but I was hoping for like an exploded view diagram. Ill keep looking around google.
