Default Rear ALS

Has anyone ever done away with the anti lock rear brake system on a 91 Dodge Ram? If so, any potential problems to look for? Thanks!

there is really no point in bypassing it. the RWAL pretty much does nothing but there is no point in bypassing it. you don't really save any money or brake line bypassing it. i would personally just leave it as is.

When I bought my truck, it looked like the RWAL hadn't worked in years. And when I ran new brake lines I just bypassed it. I haven't noticed any problems, and like crazzywolfie said, the RWAL doesnt really do anything.

That was my problem! No fluid coming out of the RWAL cylinder. Rear brakes weren't working at all. By-passed it and have great brake pedal now.
