I get 13.8 all around (mostly highway).
2006 1500 Megacab with stock 5.7 and 147,000 miles on her.
32 gallon tank.

hows it possible your 1st gens getting better mileage than my 06 1500 ram 4x4? Best i see is 15mpg highway running 89 octane.

1986 Dodge D100, 225 slant 6 (Super six conversion), a833 4 speed overdrive. 130,000 miles


17mpg around town. 21 mpg highway.

'03 ram 1500 4wd 360 quad cab - 12.8mpg since new 98k

'91 ram w150 4wd 318 ex-cab - 15.4mpg in the 12k I've owned it.

83 w150 slant six 4x4 granny four speed with 3.55 gears gets 14 mpg in town not sure bout highway

87 w150 stock except gutted cat and I get 8 on a good day, 6 if I run the a/c compressor

I'm getting around 9-11 combined town and highway. Just highway going about 60 or 65 i get 15.

1993 W150 318, 4.17's, 32x10.5x15 tires

With my 318, I ranged anywhere from 12 to just under 16 (on the highway) with 3.55s. On average, I was somewhere in the 13-14 range.

I have a 92 d150 318 only gets about 6 in town and 9 highway

I have a 1st gen ramcharger 4wd with a 318 and 33 inch tires (No lift) but around town I get about 10-12MPG or highway I usually get 16-18 MPG- and I Like the 727 Torch Flight!!Which I have power windows and fuel injection.
