Hi,

Its on the frame rail on the driver side i believe. Just get underneath the truck and follow the fuel lines to it...

do you have a spare tire under your bed? if you do that may be why you do not see the fuel filter. it should be on the passenger side of the gas tank under the bed. it looks like it is in the middle of the bed.

Mine is inside the drivers side frame rail just in front of the cross member right below the drivers feet. I have a drivers side mounted tank. Do you have a rear mounted tank?

Rear mounted tanks are behind the rear axle. A mid-frame mounted tank is what I have and it is in front of the rear axle but still under the bed on the drivers side inside the frame rail. If your tank is in the same place as mine your filter will be in the same place as mine, unless someone modified your fuel system. Start at the fuel tank and trace your fuel lines forward until you find the filter.

I went looking for my fuel filter recently, on an 84 W150, and it was in the engine compartment. It is the last thing in the fuel line before the carburator. The fuel line went from the fuel pump on the side of the engine through the filter to the carburator. Good luck.
