Wolfie, you were right. It was driving me nuts so i traced the wiring again, starting from the passenger headlight. I had missed the ground wire thats bolted to the driver side radiator support. One bolt later, headlights and turn signals are working as good as new. Now to get it running smoothly again. she's got a small miss, gonna do the basics first. plugs, cap and rotor, maybe wires. we'll see. thanks again for the help!

 

You had completely wrong lights coming on from just a bad ground? My truck is a 85 and I have no tail lights unless I turn the trun siganl on and then when I turn the key the lights go out. Adb the hazard switch controls some other light I forget. Does anyone know why I dont have reverse lights either
