When I put it in four wheel drive it's engaged but when under strain I hear a pop and then no four wheel in the front tires...four wheel drive was working fine before changing my bears and races n seals yesterday...please could use the help....thanks Mike

My 92 dodge power ram 4x4 system stopped working on me last year and really need to get it up and running again. It is all stock automatic system. The lever goes into 4 wheel drive high and low but it does not engage. the light on the dash even lights up saying 4x4 engaged but it's not. Can anyone help lead me to know problem with them if any?

 

I have a 1989 dodge ram Lamar and I am trying to get the four wheel drive locked in.. I replaced the actuator and still won't lock in.. The red line got broke don't know if that is the problem but I put it somewhat back together with other lines still nothing ... on top of the transfer case there are four lines I am only getting vacuum from one of the holes at the actuator not getting any vacuum. Don't know where to go now and see if I can't fix it

 

I have a 90 w-250 and switched it from auto hubs to manual locks but still doesnt seem to be working. The drive shaft turns when put in 4 wheel but it doesnt seem to transfer to the wheels. Did I do something wrong when I installed manual lockers?
