Default Odd thing happening on my truck.

It has happened almost every time I have driven it lately. I will start it and it runs perfectly until it ALMOST gets to operating temp then it hicups for a few seconds then stalls if I am stopped. It will restart or keep running if I am in gear rolling when this happens and then run fine with no problems at all. I am NOT getting any lights on the warning panel either. No check engine or anything.

I don't know if this is related, but my fuel gauge is wonky too. Might it be the fuel pump going out? But the fuel gauge is ALWAYS wonky, not just when this is happening.

Sounds like a computer issue to me.

i don't think it is the computer. i would be wondering if it was something like the hall effects sensor starting to go bad or possibly the idle air control motor sticking or possibly stripped gears.

I can be driving steadily down the road with part throttle at cruise and it happens.. not just at idle.

Hall effect sensor/switch is located in the dizzy under the rotor.
