Default Truck Now U to Snuff

Well it's been a week since I got this 1992 150. I had a 79 D100 Palomino for 25 years with the 318. Just sold it with more rust holes than metal for 1000 and picked up this 92 for 3000. It is quite mint and a Florida clean truck. However, there are a few issues:
The speedometer reads 40 when I am going 65, no windshield mirror, no door key, bad tailgate, runs a bit rough first off, been afraid to check the plenum, good tires, totally rust free, new shocks and tires, awful radio, I mean God awful radio, (but then again there is no antenna) stops ok, no rattles, rear window gasket leaks I think, no carpet, and it smells funny. Actually it smells pretty bad and the wipers stop where they are when I turn them off.
I have replaced the latch and bars in the tailgate from a junkyard donor and now works great. From the same donor truck I got and antenna, new bolts for the gate latch. Took the door lock out and got it matched to the ignition key for 20.00. I will mess with the wipers and speedometer some day, but for now all the little stuff is done. But, it still smells pretty bad.

for the wipers: check to see if the park switch still is getting power because that's what lets the wipers go back to start after you shut the switch off

That is nice of you to pitch in, but I need to know where is the park switch, how to test it and is it a stand alone part?
Thanks
