Default Reclocking or Clocking the Speedo Gears

Like a dummy, I took out the gear housing out of the tail shaft housing and did not mark the placement. Don't know much about this so if someone could tell me the procedure for inserting the gear correctly I would appreciate it. I put it back in and it is in there with out a problem. The gear itself looks good and was beige in color

Ah ha: I have figured it out. The housing notches correspond to a number range that is stamped on the gear. Amazing. Put the new sensor into the housing and housing into the tailshaft housing and tightened it down.
