Default I need help decoding my vin

I bought a 1979 dodge power wagon w150 or w10. It's a 4x4 with a 318. I'm trying to restore it. But the vin is to short to get the right info. Can anyone tell me how to read it. No vin decoder online can read it

Does this help?

http://www.lhmopars.com/vin75-80.htm#1979

you can also try the fender tag. On my 87 its under the passenger side cowl, but it may be somewhere else on your machine, being as its older. Here is a site that decodes all those 3 digit numbers:
http://www.mopar1.us/build.html#1962-1968

Hope that helps
