Default 1978 dodge w200 wiring problem

I have a 1978 dodge w200 that i just installed a pioneer 40x4 watt cd player in. It seems to work fine until you turn the volume above 15 or turn the headlights on. Then it turns the radio off and resets everything. If the volume gets above 15 then it will make a squeaking noise and turn off. Not sure what is going on, but the truck already had a aftermarket cassette player in it when i got it and it worked fine. What am I doing wrong can someone help me.?

your alternator and battery cant keep up with the demand of the radio and speakers,( similar problem with my 87) go to autozone or wherever and get your battery and alternator tested for free and see if they're both good if not, theres your problem
