Default 85 slant 6

Hey everyone. I'm new to this forum and wanted to check it out. I bought a 1985 dodge d150 with a slant 6. It's a 3 speed on the floor. I've messed around with it a couple of times to see if it would fire. It turns over but doesn't fire. I've replaced the ignition coil and thought that would do the job. It still doesn't fire. It sat for 6 years also. Has 57,000 original miles on it. Any ideas? Also anyone know where I can get parts for it? Thanks everyone. Hope y'all reply.

first check the plugs. with the plugs out put some marvel mystery oil in the cyls and spin the engine, to seal the piston. and check the ballast resistor. and check that the plug wires has spark. the next thing to check is the fuel supply.

one thing you should always check is the wiring going to all of your components just to make sure that no critters have eaten the wires when a vehicle has been sitting that long. another thing that you should do is replace the control box that controls the ignition of the coil
