Exclamation 1989 w100 fuel injected wont start

The truck ran fine before I took the valve covers off and painted them. I put them back on and replaced the leaking gaskets and went to start it and it just clicked. All electronics work Headlights, Radio, interor lights, ETC. I thought the dying battery gave out and tried jumping it off and it still clicked. I thought it was finally time for a new battery, put a new battery in it and still nothing. Its a 1989 w100 318 auto, Throttle body stock. Please help need to drive to college.
