Default Frame power

Just bought an 86 dodge w 150 and while trying to start the brake line are getting hot like burn Hand hot!!! Checked everywhere can find a wire open ohm read 5.7 on frame drawing power somehow any ideas

you must be missing a ground or have a lose ground somewhere. try grounding the body to the frame and engine.

Im thinking more like you have a wire that has rubbed through and is making contact somewhere. Try removing one fuse at a time from your fuse block and see if the frame power goes away. If it does, then you know which circuit is the culprit.

Hey thank you guys got her figured out there was a battery cut off switch hiding in a super weird spot for a ground
